Kiran trained as a dancer at the University of Chichester (BA Hons 2.1) and followed this by working as a freelance artist both dancing and teaching across Kent. He later qualified as a teacher (QTS) and trained future dancers of the industry, assisting in developing their skills to successfully gain places at some of Europe’s top dance conservatoires including The Place, Laban, The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Rambert. Kiran now works a freelance dance artist for Trinity Laban Outreach, Prima Stage School, The Tonbridge and West Kent School Sport Partnership, Maths Dance and teaches freelance Maidstone schools. He is also a collective member at Loop Dance Company where he takes class and teaches professional class.
In 2012 Kiran began training as a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist qualifying from the London School of Sports Massage with a BTEC Level 5 and an LSSM Diploma in 2013. His treatments use specialised skills and techniques, to assess, treat and provide rehabilitation exercises for injury maintenance and prevention. Kiran currently treats at Evolution Strength and Fitness, Aylesford, Maidstone.
Kiran always practiced yoga for fitness, maintenance and relaxation so decided to train as a yoga teacher qualifying from The Freestyle Yoga Project, Tunbridge Wells with a 200hr Yoga Alliance teaching certification in 2015. He is now an associate teacher at The Freestyle Yoga Project in Tunbridge Wells and he also runs his own class in Maidstone.
Kiran's passion for dance massage and yoga has given him a greater insight into how the body functions both on a physical and holistic level to fully understand the demands and stresses placed upon it. He continues to research and experiment with movement-based activities and incorporates this knowledge into his treatments and classes. Kiran specialises in flexibility and core strength within his treatments and classes which have been an integral part of his training, keeping him injury free and active throughout his career.
Traditional yoga poses sewn together with the artistry of choreography
CHUDOGRAPHY Yoga Maidstone has been developed from the theories and practices of Vinyasa yoga, combined with knowledge and exploration of muscles and movement received through dance and sports massage.
Chudography Yoga Maidstone has no spiritual grounding and uses accessible language to direct you through the poses focussing on breath and flow to develop strength, stamina, alignment, flexibility and a peaceful mind.
